Charlotte Blaze and any time you want to drive up to see her I'll be glad to send you hotel info.i was talking to her pitching coach tonight about how tight her spin is and he said people are crazy if they don't think the ball can move at 35ft.I just said I know also I didn't compare her to Jenny Finch you did!!!I WOULD LOVE TO PUT YOUR PAY CHECK AGAINST MINE IF SHE CAN'T THROW A RISE BALL FROM 35FT. If it is the girl I saw at King of the Mountain, she is definately the real deal. And I agree 100%, you CAN move a ball at 35 ft. We have a pitcher throwing all 5 pitches and they move very well. It depends on the spin that can be generated.

You both are correct she is my daughter. She really doesn't have the most speed in the world be is accurate and has pitches to go with it.We have been working hard sice she was 6 years old.I'm waiting for the legs to kick in to give her more power and speed it will come.It just blows my mind that some of these people really just don't know what they are talking about.I was kinda looking forward to taking this dude's money haha!Dawgfan who does your daughter play for?We can't wait to come back down!!

Just my opinion but I truly believe that power beats location every time, the reason I say this is because, you can give the excuse that if you can only throw hard the better hitters will get the timing same is true on movement and location.Bottom line better hitters just hit better regardless of pitching.I've done this for a long time and I have found that you can teach a weaker hitter to recognize movement and location and adjust to hit it,however if you can't catch up to it takes a lot longer to get to where you can hit it,and I mean really see it and hit it not just throw your bat at it and hope you get lucky. As a pitcher you need both speed and location to be dominate. So in my opinion batters as a whole have a harder time with speed than movement and location especially younger girls.

Yes please do!!!We have weaker comp around here that is why we are traveling around to kinda see how our team stacks up against teams from other states. We played 16 games in Ga over the last 3 weeks and lost 5 to the Worth Cobras,Bolts.Miss Elite,Tenn White Light, and Easton Elite which that one still hurts. We really like the friendly format and it gives you a chance to play and have a good time really with not much pressure. My email is drewbjorson@yahoo.com.Good Luck in the up coming weeks for your run at an ASA birth.

The bona fide "A" class teams have no trouble at all hitting speed and rotation at this age, but what they do have enormous trouble with is hitting slow(I mean slow) pitching. It takes a great hitting team at least 3 innings to adjust to a slow junk baller. A good example of this is your team Blaze Coach. We have never had anybody hit our number 1 as hard as your team did. After about 3-4 innings of this shelling we put our slower junk ball pitcher in and they could not hit her. Our number 1 was consistently throwing her fast ball at 52-53 mph and your better hitters were turning on it our second pitcher was a steady 43-44mph. I know switching pitchers with different deliveries and speeds is effective throwing hitters of balance, but your girls turned on 53 mph and hit shots. I think they can easily hit 55-56 mph without any problem, but they had extreme difficulty with low 40's. In no way is this a slam at all. In my mind the Blaze is one of the top four teams in the SE. This is just an observation of what can be very effective against good hitters. My answer is you better have speed with movement and slow with movement in the form of at least two pitchers and know when to use them. Thanks. Hope to play yall again.

I agree with you 100% my DD college pitching coach told me the other day we don't have a fast ball in college espically one for a strike. It is very difficult for kids to hit the slower pitching which for us should be opposite. Most pitchers in our area except a few are lucky to throw 40mph which suprised me when we saw the faster pitching all weekend on how well my girls hit.I was reading some post on Georgiacoachescorner (Carrollton Classic pg12,13)about a player on your team.I don't know who they are but there is one fired up mom on your team because they were bashing her about changing teams to the Cobras because they beat you guys twice last weekend.I know your team is very good and if you weren't so far away I would let my DD come play for ya.Best of luck this summer I will follow your progress go get them!!!
