You can host USFA tournaments as funraisers. These work well in Tennessee. The hosting fee is $10 per team entered. That is cheap for a state qualifier.

One softball team in north AL sold onions!
The mom that told me about it said they made tons of profits!!! Just take orders, pick up the bushel bags, distribute into paper sacks, and pass them out to the buyers.
Haven't tried it ourselves, but you asked!

Also Chick f la has a thing on Tuesday nights where your team can set up and get donations and help inside. You are there for 3 hours. Anything they make over 1500 you get a percent of anything over. We did not make a killing but around $600 isnt bad for 3 hours of work.

If anyone has participated in the onion sale, would you please post the pros and cons to that type of fundraiser? Thanks!

Garage sale. Good way to raise money and get rid of clutter. Good time now because it is warm and dry enough to have the sale and people are starting to buy cool weather clothes.
